What it is

The medical side of permanent makeup.

Paramedical micropigmentation — sometimes called medical tattooing — uses the same precision as cosmetic permanent makeup, but for corrective goals: restoring colour the skin has lost, and camouflaging marks the skin has kept. Custom pigment is matched to your exact tone and implanted to blend, not to stand out.

It is a cover-up specialism, distinct from laser, surgery or phototherapy. It does not cure conditions — it makes them far less visible, with natural-looking results that last. Every case is unique, so suitability is always confirmed in a consultation and patch test first.

Huma Arshad is a Canada-certified paramedical micropigmentation practitioner — among the first to bring this corrective specialism to Islamabad. Every plan begins with skin history, a colour match, and a patch test.

The process

How a session works.

Consult & colour-match

We review your skin history and stability, then custom-blend pigment to your exact tone.

Patch test

A small test confirms colour and skin response before treating the full area.

Pigment implantation

Precise micropigmentation layers matched colour into the treated area.

Heal & refine

The colour settles over a few weeks; a refinement session perfects the blend.

Questions

Paramedical micropigmentation — your questions.

What is paramedical micropigmentation?
It is corrective medical tattooing — custom skin-tone pigment implanted to camouflage or restore colour the skin has lost. It covers vitiligo, scars, stretch marks, areola restoration and pigment correction. It is a cover-up specialism, not a cure.
How is it different from normal permanent makeup?
Cosmetic permanent makeup enhances features (brows, lips, liner). Paramedical micropigmentation is the medical side — its goal is to correct and camouflage skin conditions and scarring, which needs precise colour theory and skin assessment.
Is it safe and does it hurt?
A patch test is done first and the procedure uses fine, controlled micropigmentation. Most clients describe mild discomfort, and skin response is checked at every stage.
How long does it last?
It is semi-permanent. Pigment softens gradually over time and can be topped up; longevity depends on the area, your skin, and sun exposure.
Where is the studio?
